Event Highlights

• Chapter members:

  • Learned to make sleeping mats for the homeless using plastic bags.

  • Donated $150 to support graduating students at West Academy, Cimarron-Memorial, and Centennial High Schools.

  • Helped pack and donate Soror Mildred Harrison’s clothing—116 clothing items, 53 shoes, and 44 purses—to Nevada Assistance League and Dress for Success.

  • Volunteered at Parkdale Community Center, distributing food to 259 families.

  • Partnered with the United Movement of Kindness and Doolittle Active Adult Center to celebrate 30 years of the community garden.

  • Collected 18 boxes of clothing for the 2026 MLK Weekend of Service.

• The 20 Pearls Foundation, Inc. delivered 1,920 water bottles to the Salvation Army and donated 300 flip-flops to Sunrise Hospital.

• We closed out the celebration with worship at Embassy Christian Worship Center and donated $180 to the church.
