Community Garden

Theta Theta Omega established its presence at the City of Las Vegas Community Garden, also known as The Doolittle Garden, in April 2024, following a successful year of educational gardening activities at the San Miguel Garden from February 2023 through March 2024.

Our chapter maintains four dedicated garden beds, each measuring 20 by 4 feet. In addition to caring for our own plots, we actively support the broader garden community by assisting with the planting, pruning, harvesting, and upkeep of an additional 40 beds.

We host an average of 20 - 25 hardworking volunteers (Chapter members, unaffiliated volunteers, friends, and family) every 3rd Saturday of the month, rain or shine. This service is offered to senior gardeners from the Doolittle Active Adult Center who have requested help or are unable to maintain their plots due to health challenges or scheduling conflicts.

We are growing and enjoying the following vegetables and herbs in our community garden.
